December 20th Photo Shoot

On December 20th 2009 I had the opportunity to work on a photo shoot with a very talented group of individuals! The team consisted of Fashion Designer Sandra C. Hagen, Photographer Christopher Garofolo, Hairstylist Tammica Simon, Models Adriana Susana,Megan Henderson, Lacey Buchanan and of course myself.

Models were showing off Sandra's beautiful collection of 6. These dresses are a must see! They're romantic, femenine, fun, flirty all in one! The makeup I applied at Sandra's request was romantic, fairytale like with long lashes and bits of shimmer. The models were naturals in front of the camera. They displayed much talent; needing little to no direction! All of the above combined with Tammica's runway hairstyling(amazing!), Christopher's keen eye for fashion photography, made for stunning images!

In the future I would reccomend working with any of them, and it would be my pleasure to join them again anytime!

Here is one os the images as well as a link for more of Christophers work!

yaby

On the weekend of October 3rd 2009 I traveled to Miami F.L. to work at the Artist Summit Miami. I was fortunate enough to work at the yaby cosmetics booth with creator Liz Yu and other talented MUA's. So lets get to the nitty gritty here! About yaby...yaby's concept is simple but ingenious! yaby cosmetics are a pro makeup line, developed by a pro! yaby is very compact, and one pallet will fit in the palm of your hand. They are highly pigmented cosmetics, but very blendable. And if you know anything about makeup, you know that when they're highly pigmented they're usually harder to blend. . Each pallet also has a built in stainless steal mixing pallet that can also double as a mirror. And to help save you $$$, you won't have to worry about having to replace your shades as often because the color pans are surrounded by foam which safe guards your shades from breaking (I love that idea)! The color pans also pop out easily and can be arranged however you want!

There's more...yaby also has a freestyle pallet. This is an empty pallet which you can customize any way you want with yaby or with any other cosmetic line. Yes she even came up with "grippies"! These are exactly that...a grip... They're grips that stick on the bottom of any pan from any line and make them compatible with yaby.

I myself received my yaby a few weeks later after the show, and I have been in love with them ever since! I used the freestyle pallet on the set of the infomercial that I worked on a couple of weeks ago and it made job so much easier because I was able to pick and choose whatever I needed from yaby or any other line and pop it in to the freestyle pallet and off to work I went with palette in hand:D So whether you're a Professional Makeup Artist, just starting out, or you just wear makeup here or there, I definitely recommend yaby! Ashley's Wedding

Hi everyone! Here is an image of a bridal party I worked  on at the Chase Suit Hotel in Rocky Point Tampa FL. The bride was as beautiful as I imagined, and they were such a fun loving group that  made my job so much easier! I also had another MUA assist me by the name of Ashley Janae. She was such a joy to work with as well! You can view some of her work here on the brides maids as well. Bridal party of 5 turned out beautiful ( mother of bride not shown here)!
